Bridges of Hope Counseling is a small private practice providing quality counseling services to children (ages 9-13) and adults in the Portland Oregon area.
Hello and Welcome to my website. I am pleased you are here.
Seeking counseling is not an easy thing to do, but it can truly be a powerful turning point in your life. Let's face it, life is hard, and we all struggle with difficult challenges, pain, and confusion from time to time. Occasionally we need professional guidance, extra support, deeper understanding, and even different tools with which to overcome the obstacles that are preventing us from enjoying the quality of life for which we so deeply long.
As a Licensed Mental Health counselor who's worked in the field for 25 years, I've come to have a tremendous amount of heart-felt respect and admiration for the courage, perseverance, and strength I see in the people I work with. I am privileged to guide and accompany my clients as they learn about themselves, and work to reach their goals. Sometimes, a person just needs a safe place to talk about things that trouble them, sometimes there's a need to understand inner pain and issues that have been carried for many years, and sometimes there's a need to change old habits or ways of thinking that no longer serve the highest good for our lives. I am a committed and caring professional who can serve as your guide through the particular challenges you are facing.
In addition to overcoming immediate issues, I have a strong commitment to help others grow towards a life of meaning and satisfaction, because while life is undeniably difficult and painful at times, it can also be BREATH-TAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL. We are all worthy of the opportunity to live with our whole hearts, our whole being, and to give our very best to loved ones and the world in which we live. I hope you'll explore the rest of the website, learn more about me and the work I do, and maybe even find a tidbit or two that will easy your heart or make you smile.
Give me a call or send an email so we can get started today!
